Bhau Kalchuri goes to Baba

Bhau Kalchuri came to Baba today, October 23, 2013.

Bhau Kalchuri came to live with Baba as his resident disciple when he was twenty seven years old in 1953, the youngest of Baba's mandali.

One of his first jobs was organizing Baba's principal book God Speaks into chapters and aiding in its typing for publication.

Bhau had three masters degrees. He authored numerous important books, many ordered by Baba for him to write, including The Nothing and the Everything and Avatar Meher Baba Manifesting.

Bhau is also honored as Baba's principal biographer, heading up the production of the 6,742 page biography, Meher Prabhu: Lord Meher, The Biography of the Avatar of the Age, Meher Baba.

Bhau traveled the world several times spreading Baba's name.

Bhau was chairman of the Avatar Meher Baba Trust until the end. He will be dearly missed. Mankind's gratitude to him can never be expressed.

Bhau's death marks the end of the Apostolic Age, and the beginning of a new era. It lasted 45 years. That of Jesus lasted from 30 AD to death of John the Apostle in Anatolia c. 100 AD, or 70 years.

  1. Baba referred to Bhau (which means brother in Hindi) as His John...His Scribe...as was the writer of the life of Jesus.--Rom
