In the heyday of the crappy psyop CIA inspired MKUltra music, that came to be called rock 'n' roll, along with its various sub-genres like bubblegum music, a fellow named Jamie Lyons recorded a famous 1-hit wonder, Little Bit 'O Soul. As nothing more came of Lyon's career as a degenerate music destroyer, he sank into alcoholism, but finally found spirituality in Meher Baba, and a lovely wife and lifelong partner named Sandy, and spent his final years in a trailer in a swamp in South Carolina near the Meher Spiritual Center, staying sober.
But Lyons had one more moment of artistic expression left in him. He voiced Hindu Guru Upasni Maharaj in a film titled 'Be As It May.' His deep rich voice at the end of his life was in considerable contrast to his ugly youthful singing voice. Smooth like butter, but commanding as a King, Lyons had truly mastered an understanding of spiritual command.
Lyons died of heart failure at his home in Little River, South Carolina at the age of 57 on September 25, 2006.
