Yesterday Amira did an interview on Ontbytsake (Breakfast Business Matters) Radio. The interview was in Afrikaans.
Looking through the photos from the session, I was especially struck by the picture below. Amira has transformed from an adorable little girl that shocked people with her talent to a mature well-spoken lady to be taken seriously.
A viewer watching the interview commented that Amira's Afrikaans is more polished than that of most South Africans. Amira recently legally emigrated to South Africa as a full citizen. She was born in the Netherlands.
Update: A video of the interview was uploaded to YouTube on March 19. The parts with Amira are assembled together. It is in Afrikaans but you can still see Amira's delightful personality.
