Flower Duet, 2017

Amira has had many teachers and coaches in music. But one of her most important, and also a friend, is Corlea Botha. When Amira did her last album, the record company, Coleske Artists, teamed her up with Corlea to learn how to do a proper duet. Corlea was well suited, as she was a singer who had also been a child prodigy, studying music since she was five.

The result of their collaboration is fabulous. Corlea, a mezzo soprano, gives the lead role to Amira, a sprinto soprano. So lovely.

The whole story of Amira moving to South Africa to work with Coleske Artists is told here. Unfortunately it's mostly in Afrikaans. Still, a beautiful film worth watching.
