On My Own – Amira Willighagen is celebrating her 18th birthday with her first solo concert, On My Own. The audience will be mesmerized by Amira, showcasing her tremendous talent by putting together a program consisting of many different genres: musicals, cross-over, classical music and opera. In this concert, Amira will be on her own, sharing the stage only with the international acclaimed Maestro Richard Cock conducting the Phoenix orchestra. The title of the concert gives a hint of the message and emotions that will be carried through the concert: becoming 18 can be scary, but it is also magical to stand on your own as a young adult. Amira wants to showcase to the world what she has learned from music over the past 9 years since she won Holland’s Got Talent at age 9, and will spoil the audience with excellent choices in her repertoire such as Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again [Phantom Of The Opera], La Cliffa [Ennio Morricone] and of course… My Favorite Things [The Sound Of Music] to name but a few.
