Music and Plants

Canadian engineer Eugene Canby exposed wheat to J.S. Bach’s violin sonata and experienced a 66% increase in yield. In other studies, plants exposed to soothing classical and jazz music grow towards the speaker and even entwine themselves around it, while plants exposed to “discordant” rock music, on the other hand, grow away from the speakers and show signs similar to overwatering. YouTube has removed any mention of this from its search ranks. Is this something they don't want young people to know?
