Two Dutch Masters

Two great dutch artists, separated by 400 years. Rembrandt van Rijn of Leiden and Amira Willighagen of Nijmegen. I couldn't help notice a similiarity in their laughing smiles.

Above, Amira stands before a reproduction of "The Night Watch" by the great 17th century Dutch master Rembrandt.

Although Amira is now a citizen of South Africa where she imigrated in 2018, she maintains strong ties with her native Netherlands. Here she is at a Dutch museum with several close members of her team. Incidentally, Amira speaks Dutch, English, and Afrikaans fluently.
