Amira's First Streaming Concert Coming in September

She will be accompanied by South African pianist Charl du Plessis.

The concert: Worldwide, performing artists are streaming concerts as no live performances can take place. Amira took her time to record her first concert as she wants it to be perfect. This is her first concert of 2020, her first streaming concert, her first concert as an opera singer to establish herself as a cross-over artist, and her first full concert, where she is not a guest artist, but where she performs all 11 songs by herself. She prepared intensively: studied 10 new songs (although all 11 have never been recorded before), handpicked every song, practiced for hours with her teacher Marijke Hoksbergen in Holland via Skype, has 4 brand new dresses, and truly pulled out all the stops to make a grand entrance in this new chapter of her career and give a magical and massive performance for all her fans. She will be accompanied on piano by the Steinway Ambassador, Dr Charl du Plessis.
Technical: The concert was recorded at the world class Atterbury Theatre, Pretoria, South Africa. OPTOG! (a division of the Atterbury Theatre) will take care of the recording, pre and post production, including the ticket sales and streaming. If you have any technical questions, please contact Charle or Corien from OPTOG!: charle@optog.co.za; info@optog.co.za. They will be able to assist you with all streaming and technical related question as well as ticket sales and payments. They will reply a.s.a.p. (just remember the time differences). It would be very helpful if you can share the information with your data base as there will definitely be others with the same questions and in doing so, taking pressure off Charle and Corien by spreading their work load. The ticket price is ZAR 120 per ticket (around 5.88 Euro; 6.69 USD; 5.31 Pound – at yesterday’s rate).
