2039

Consider the following two quotes by Meher Baba, spoken at Meherabad three years apart.
Referring to Deshmukh's request that Baba attend a philosophical conference in Nagpur, Baba replied, "I am not for philosophers and celebrities! I understand your point that through your conference there would be other contacts, but I am for my lovers." (Meherabad, 1955, Lord Meher, print ed., p. 4825)

"Seventy years after I drop my body, this place will turn into a place of pilgrimage, where lovers of God, philosophers and celebrities will come to pay homage." (Meherabad, 1958, Lord Meher, print ed., p. 5296
Obviously Baba is speaking of the present time in the first instance, and a time to come in the second, each with different priorities.

My personal opinion is that Baba wanted this critical period we are currently in to be one where he is "for his lovers" (as he said at Meherabad in 1955), and the period after 2039 (70 years after he dropped his body) "for philosophers and celebrities" (as he said in the same spot in 1958).

Someone might ask, isn't Meherabad already a 'place of pilgrimage?' On a worldly level, no it is not a major place of destination for pilgrims around the world. You need only compare it to real places of pilgrimage in the world.

20,000 pilgrims visit the Vatican each day.

Shirdi gets the same number.

The Hajj gets 3 million a year. But in total more than 15 million Muslims visit Mecca each year.

The largest annual gathering of pilgrims in the world is the Arba'een Pilgrimage in Karbala, Iraq, which attracts 20 million pilgrims a year.

The Indian Mela, which is celebrated once every twelve years, is attended by an estimated 120 million people.

I didn't see that many Christians going to Jerusalem. I found the numbers hard to find.

Medjugorje gets 60,000 Catholics a year.

In this earlier post, I explained how Baba divided the yugas in his book God Speaks. As explained there, we are currently in the last 20 years of a 120 year age. The age we are coming to an end of is the last of 11 such ages that follow Muhammad. It ends in 2039.

Now I wish to point out that this 125 year age has very distinct features.

Again using the start date from the earlier post, the age we are in began in 1914 about the time of Baba's realization by Babajan. And it ends in 2039.

These 125 years are marked by the two world wars, the Cold War, and the new Cold War we are in. The major changes are the rise and fall of the Soviet Union, and the eventual subsequent fall of the hegemonic American Empire, to give way to the multipolar world order beginning in 2039.

Baba will manifest only after these events are complete and we are sqarely in the multipolar world.

In this RT interview, journalist and Middle East based commentator Sharmine Narwani predicts a shift of world paradigms in precisely 20 years. Watch from 24:55 and also from 26:51.
