I have mentioned before that I check out any musical talent that Amira Willighagen endorses. When interviewed at the start of her career, she said she listens to pop from the 1980s. Abba is one of her favorite groups.
The above performance is from Abba's London performance of "The Way Old Friends Do."
Below, a nine year old Amira performs the Abba song 'I Have a Dream' at a celebration of 50 years of Abba. From what I understand, Amira had just won the Holland's Got Talent contest, and received an invitation to perform at the event. She was so eager to do it, that the family drove 10 hours from the Netherlands to Sweden for Amira to perform. Amira arrived deprived of sleep and exhausted, but still performed. And that is why she may appear tired as she does. It is still a magical, though lesser-known, performance. The people in the audience are Abba fans.
Here, now, is Amira's version of the 'The Way Old Friends Do,' sung in Dutch, from her 2018 album With All My Heart.
