I've begun a new talk series. It will have approximately 50 chapters. They will be less than an hour each, and be very clear and slow. The progression will be different from other talk series I've given in the past. Each talk will tackle a very specific subject. These eventually form a tapestry that we see in the end. The first three talks will be as follows:
- Glossary -- here we go over certain terms we will be using, and how we are defining them in the series.
- On the issues and problems surrounding causation, which most people are not aware of.
- The third talk will discuss epistemology (the subject of how we know things, and what we can actually know and how) in a very different way from how it has been discussed in academic settings. We get much more to the heart of the subject. And we will make the issues clear. This is necessary for the rest of the talks to make sense.
